I tried a Harry’s free trial pack. It was possibly the worst shave I’ve ever had.

FFS

There are some proper Desperate Dan, Japanese Knotweed stubble types on here...

Obviously a cut throat wetshave at a Turkish barbershop is the best thing as long as you don't need to do it everyday

Re: Wet Shave Razor Recommendations
i just got the fusions 5 and shave with it for the first time this morning and it is really good. doesnt take the top layer of skin off like the mach 3.

was pretty pleased with it this morning, especially as i didnt end up with a million cuts like i seem to get with a new razor.

10 quid from tesco with the handle bit and 4 blades total.

Separate blades?

Blimey! As a nipper I remember sharpening my dad's razor blades on an old oil-stone.

They had to be virtually gossamer transparent before he'd let my mother throw them away, and even then he was convinced he could get one more decent shave out of them.

Big Dawg is right, Merkur Futur is the way to go because it's adjustable. Proraso products are also the best. I use their red range. My blade of choice is the Gillette 7 o'clock blade. It works with my skin.

Re: Wet Shave Razor Recommendations
I'ved used Gillette for years even though they're a total rip-off but recently I tried the Lidl 5 blade razor and was very impressed and at £2.99 for 5 cartridges I won't be returning to Gillette.
